Heavy traffic has been part of the populous island of Java for longer than we can remember, and this inconvenience has spread over to the island of Bali as well, especially around South Denpasar. The rapid growth of the island’s tourism industry has also resulted in the inevitable consequence of increased vehicle ownership. Unfortunately this occurrence is not supported with the addition of usable roads or other basic infrastructures. The latest construction, Bali Mandara Toll Road, is expected to become an alternative access that is able to link the northern and southern parts of Bali, in addition to the existing Ngurah Rai Bypass Road, which is getting more and more congested each day.
