Andrea Forti & Eleonora Dal Farra, the founders of alcarol, blend avant-garde techniques with traditional material processing, to unveil each place’s Genius Loci. In ancient mythology, Genius Loci, a protective spirit, inspires a place with character. alcarol’s experimental process uses transparent substances to maintain materials’ original appearance, creating functional, unique designs. Sectioning materials reveals their profound natures, offering a new perspective on environment through touch, sight and scent.
