The 19th International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX) was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, between 4-7 July 2018. With a significantly growing number of exhibitors and visitors from around the world, it remains an influential platform to showcase the works of emerging and established architects and designers.
The 19th edition of International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX) was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, between 4-7 July 2018. With a significantly growing number of exhibitors and visitors from around the world, it remains an influential platform to showcase the works of emerging and established architects and designers.
The participating exhibitors will include brands from Austria, Korea, Singapore, China and Taiwan. A majority of the visitors will be architects, interior designers, developers, engineers and various professionals from related industries. There will be a new exhibit zone that highlights the concepts of ‘Building Smarter’ and ‘Building on Cleaning’. It will feature the Integrated Building System (IBS), a method of pre-fabricated construction where the components are manufactured on-site or off-site, and Building Maintenance & Cleaning Services, which will showcase sophisticated technologies to keep buildings clean and orderly. Furthermore, there will also be an architectural competition for students and awards for exhibitors with fresh and ground-breaking designs.
ARCHIDEX is jointly organised by the Malaysian Institute of Architects and C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian trade and lifestyle exhibitions organiser. It will be held in conjunction with the annual Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF).
