H.E. Lambert Grijns, the current Dutch ambassador to Indonesia, and Lina Gan, the editor-in-chief of Indonesia Design, hosted the celebration of art diplomacy in the Dutch Residence, showcasing artworks by Dutch artists inspired by Indonesian cultures. The event, which also marked the milestone of Indonesia Design’s 100th edition launching, was held at the residence of the Netherlands Ambassador, Jakarta, on 25 August 2023.
Ambassador Lambert warmly welcomed the guests to the Dutch Residence in his speech. Meanwhile, Lina thanked friends from various backgrounds, including developers, architects, interior designers, and business owners, for their trust and support for Indonesia Design. In the end, Andi Rahmat of Nusae graphic design studio explained the story behind Indonesia Design’s 100thedition logo.
It was a delightful evening where everyone gathered over casual conversations, delicious food, and wine.
