Artalenta is a Bali-based architectural firm that has brought together a team of professionals of different specialties to develop architecture and interior design projects with a strong creative touch. The company was founded in 2004 by Uira, an Indonesian Architect and Project Director. Under his leadership, specialists from various fields work on the common goal of providing high-end services for architectural, interior design, and landscape projects in accordance with the highest criteria of quality and aesthetics.

The award-winning project Casa Saba embodies the key principles of Artalenta. This premium property is designed as an organic part of the client’s lifestyle. Its interior and exterior spaces not only tell stories through subtle combinations of shapes, colors, and various details but also create a perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.
Casa Saba
This private residence was designed to take inspiration from the surrounding landscape; white-beige of the sand, earthy brown from the fertile Balinese soil, verdant greeneries and the blue seas which the property overlooks.
Designed by Artalenta, this summer house is designed for the client to host family and friends. The residence would house up to 12 people, while the dining room could seat 18. The client loved nature so a pool and vast outdoor area were upmost important.
The site is located at the end of a paved pathway through the unspoiled green of Southeast coast of Bali. The site has an abandoned existing building which was taken down for the project. Artalenta’s challenge was to use the most durable building materials to endure the seaside climate.
The resident aims towards a resort feel that highlights material characters and modern form. Cubic volumes are elongated and perforated into a continuous structure that is united by roof and wall cladding’s graphic elements.
Artalenta brought nature into the structure through the colour scheme and use of local materials. A low-lying cantilevered flat roof floats on the structure and weaves it into the coastal landscape.
