There is no denying that fashion is the close cousin of art, design, and architecture. Raf Simons worked in industrial design while Tom Ford and Gianfranco Ferre were architects before they all became familiar faces in high end fashion. It seems that the strong conceptual elements, shared by architects and artists, are also the building blocks needed by players in the fashion world to sell its products, and none other is this more apparent than in architects and artists who journeyed into fashion photography. We present stories from iconic figures who are the safeguards of both worlds.
