“We have been in the lighting business since 2002 when the group was appointed as the first Professional Channel Partner of Philips,” says Hendra Rusmana Liu, managing director of AKU. Partnering with Signify, they recently launched a new system called Interact Pro. It is an integrated system consisting of lamps, a gateway, a control dashboard and an app, connected with the power of Internet of Things (IoT). It is designed to enhance productivity in a way that the lamps are easily adjusted to the workers’ behaviour, which can increase the level of comfort and durability. It saves energy by automatically dimming or shutting down the lights in areas with no detected activity, which will reduce electricity cost and support sustainability.
AKU’s market is evolving rapidly towards green energy and building. They extend the competency to deliver energy efficiency and maintain aftersales services. They have expanded their presence from Jabodetabek further to Surabaya and Bali.
