What’s the most common request from your client during the pandemic?
We can be sure, due to the pandemic, there is definitely increasing demand to have more outdoor and semi outdoor spaces to allow more natural ventilation.

Referring to your answer above, what can we expect from the future and from the next architecture & interior design trends?

Apart from providing more natural ventilation, having more outdoor and semi outdoor spaces allows more natural lighting. These give less energy requirement for buildings to

be occupied. Passive approach applications in architectural design to reduce the use of energy should be prerequisite in obtaining a building permit.

Climate change is real and it is our shared common problem. Any action in architecture and interior that’s able to reduce its carbon footprint or achieve net-zero buildings should be commendable.

Please share how you anticipate these trends. VerITAS Design Group has more than 35 green rated projects, certified up to platinum.

We even have our own in-
house VerITAS Green Check,
our customised sustainability principles tools and strategies at early design stages that can have the greatest impact on cost and performance.

one of the companies in VerITAS Design Group is VerITAS environment, whose primary objective is to achieve pragmatic and energy-efficient environmental design solutions for a more sustainable built environment while ensuring financial advantage for project stake-holders.
