What’s the most common request from your client (during and post pandemic)?
During the pandemic, some routine activities usually done outside the home were brought inside and these were incorporated into the early stages of interior design. Such as a salon area which can be used as massage room and gym room, complete with shower and bathroom, so anytime the client needed a quarantine room, this area can be transformed immediately.
What can we expect from the future architecture and interior design trends?
Space planning and circulation must be more precise and allow for unpredictable conditions. We can expect to see a much more rigid and dedicated space to effectively separate the living spaces between the owners and their staff.
Please share how you anticipate these trends.
each client has unique requirements, particularly in a private residence project, and when dealing with special circumstances such as a pandemic. Now we tend to do more research on owner and staff, the people using the space every day. This information during the early stages of the project gives us a better understanding on how to make a space for them.
