Are you designers from Indonesia who want to build a house using biobased materials? Are you producers from Indonesia who create biobased materials?
Join the Open Call and your works will be included in “Exploded View” exhibition from 2 July to 27 August 2022 in Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia, and will be showcased during the G20 Summit in November in Bali. The exhibition is presented by Erasmus Huis and Company New Heroes to show the possibilities that nature offers us in developing building materials which can be used to create sustainable living environment.
The centerpiece of the exhibition will be 2 houses, scale 1/10, made by Pascal Leboucq and Lucas De Man in collaboration with Indonesian designers. One house will be brought in from The Netherlands and showcase biobased materials made by Dutch and Belgian bio designers and producers. The other house will be completely empty because it needs to be filled with biobased materials from the Indonesian archipelago. It will showcase as many locally made biobased materials as possible while portraying the stories and designers behind them.
