Film and fashion have always had a strong correlation. In addition to storyline, cast and cinematography, the side of art that comprises fashion, makeup and art direction make up the early foundations for the history of world movies. More importantly, the glittering fashion depicted in the movies has been known to influence fashion trends in real life. Fashion is becoming an indisputable element of life, both for those who are aware of it and those who don’t really care about it. Indeed, we must admit that people are inescapable from fashion. Or in the words of Edith Head, a film costume designer, “Fashion is a language. Some know it, some learn it, some never will - like an instinct.”
