The warmth of Javanese hospitality is legendary throughout Indonesia. This culture and local Javanese wisdom truly captivated the hearts of Ingo Piepers and Noëlle Haitsma, two Dutch nationals, and eventually inspired them to start the development of Villa Borobudur. The serenely beautiful haven perched on the foot of the Menoreh Mountains brings their hearts closer to the island of Java with a picturesque view of the Borobudur temple below and a neat row of Merapi, Merbabu and Sumbing Mountains standing majestically in the background.
