Nestled among the hills above the old city of Imogiri and only a stone’s throw away from the Royal Cemetery in the south of Yogyakarta lies Bumi Langit, a permaculture centre where a creative way of life is achieved through finding balance with nature and discovering its beauty. The brainchild of a religious environmentalist, Iskandar Waworuntu, Bumi Langit offers a glimpse of how a human being should understand life and the environment in order to devote himself to God the Almighty Creator.
