The 8th edition of HOMEDEC (Home Design & Interior Exhibition) was successfully held from 28 September-1 October 2023 at Hall 3A ICE, BSD City, Tangerang. Living up to the theme “SALEbration Is Back!”, every exhibitor offered good deals that one couldn’t resist.
With the positioning as a one-stop-home-solution, HOMEDEC featured various kinds of products that homeowners would need for renovation and redecoration of their homes. From washing machine to doors, mattresses, pots and pans, you name it, they got it. “And what’s more interesting is, the sale is up to 90% off!” Arif Rudiantoro, the director of CIS, claimed at the opening of the event. The event started at 10 am until 9 pm every day and the corridors were never empty.
As usual, HOMEDEC offered more than sales. There was an exhibition by Indonesia Interior Designer Association (HDII), which featured curated design projects by students from 10 universities in Jakarta. Talk shows were held with various topics, from home renovation tips to the needs of the disabled in relevance to interior design. There was also Pasar Kutu (flea market) that offered antiques and rare nostalgic knick-knacks. There was also a live kitchen where visitors could learn some cooking tips and taste the result. Families who came with kids didn’t have to worry because there were a bunch of activities for kids available, making it fun for everyone. And last but not least, visitors were showered with gifts and transactions were simplified with 0% BCA bank credit.
