Jakarta Doodle Fest (JDF), a celebration of visual arts, will run from 27-29 October 2023 at M Bloc Space, South Jakarta. It will focus on the topic of intellectual property (IP) through talk sessions, and celebrate various achievements of Indonesian visual artists, from graphic design to illustration and animation.
JDF is created and organised by TFR News, whose community is mostly active in the design, illustration and animation industries. Members of Board of Doodlers, a JDF community, and other successful young artists will share their knowledge at the event, namely Muklay, Senikanji, Naufal Abshar, and Diela Maharani.
IP will be the main focus of this event because more and more Indonesian art creators have obtained theirs, but many are still not so familiar with it either. “We hope that through this event will familiarize the importance of IP to public, not only to the creators,” Christine Laifa, the foundr of TFR, said.

From August 2023, there have been a few JDF pre-events, such as a museum visit, Doodlers Gathering in Museum MACAN, Art School Roadshow that was held in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Sampoerna University, and Creator Speed Dating at The Goods Dept, Pondok Indah Mall 2, Jakarta.
