As one of the leading electronic brands since it was founded in 1910 by Namihei Odaira, Hitachi has always delivered the best innovations in their product ranges. Invited designers from Jakarta joined a private luncheon at Entrada Restobar on February 26th, 2014 where the company once again showed their ever evolving electronic products. The event was organized with Indonesia Design as the selected media partner and it lead the introduction of their refrigerator as one of their most prominent flagship products.
A variety of fridges, equipped with the latest technologies of various types, were introduced. Two of the most memorable included the New Big2 and New Big French: As described by Zakaria Suwandi, Marketing manager of Hitachi Indonesia, Big2 puts smart technologies that rely on Dual Cooling Fan and Inverter Compressor operations. One of the main goals for applying this technology is to minimize the use of energy consumption, thus providing a more economical and environmentally friendlier refrigerator. The products were very well received and the luncheon was thoroughly enjoyed by all the attendees.
