As one of the properties of a new hotel brand developed by PHM Hospitality that features the concept of Unique Stay (thematic hotel), the accommodation boasts a theme that matches its name: freedom (FRii means free). Being one of the best Balinese beaches for surfing, Echo Beach is very well implemented in all aspects of the hotel, not only through its brand concept with the tagline “The Ultimate Home to Venture Journey,” but also from an architectural point of view. Occupying a land of 1,400 sqm, the hotel which is designed by architect Sonny Sutanto of Sonny Sutanto Architects offers a myriad of things for travelers with a hippie culture, most notably the surfers. “The hotel’s concept is made to reflect the surfer’s culture, which is not bound by the general norms and which celebrates freedom and closeness to nature,” explains Sutanto.
