Rifyo announced the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Eames Demetrios’ visionary project, “Kcymaerxthaere”, at Rifyo Design Quarter in Kemang, on Friday, 27 October 2023.
Eames Demetrios, the grandson of the illustrious Charles Eames and the visionary founder of “Kcymaerxthaere”, shared insights into his groundbreaking personal project during the event. The milestone celebration aims to spread awareness and appreciation for the fascinating “Kcymaerxthaere” project to a broader audience.
He is installing hundreds of site-specific installations worldwide, where locals and visitors alike can learn of a parallel universe, hence the name “Kcymaerxthaere”, and imagine the mythical stories before them in the spot where each corresponding installation stands.
The event was graced by esteemed personalities, including art curators, artists, interior designers, socialites, and other VIPs. Notable attendees include Eames Demetrios himself, Fify Manan, CEO of Rifyo, Deborah Iskandar, Director of ISA Art, and David Irianto, co-founder of greatmind.id, Idelaju, and Simpul. Guests had the opportunity to engage with the visionary mind behind this global sculpture initiative.
