The dollars customers pay for Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp include staying in one of the eight tents in the midst of Kaokoveld Desert, Namibia, a fly-in excursion into Skeleton Coast (named after shipwrecks on the shores) on a three-night or more stay, meals, laundry, and even scheduled camp activities. The tents are nothing short of comfortable, with camel-coloured interior and canvas-covered chairs decorating the decks. Each of the tents are spread far apart so that the signs of life seen around the camp are elephants and desert-adapted lions. Morning and afternoon drives to experience the wildlife, nature walks, and day trips to oases are just some of the things visitors are welcomed to do.
