In the design world, the Middle East region has been known as the cradle of civilization where ancient culture meets religion. It is a region where multiple influences meet to create colourful and unprecedented styles of art, architecture and interior. With their strong believes on not having human or animal figures, the Middle East becoming exceptionally advanced on creating geometry and floral designs using various colours and techniques. An ancient city called Samarra by the river of Tigris in Iraq is one of the cities that were known for its palaces, parks and mosque in that era. In Jakarta, Samarra became the 4th restaurant concept designed by the eclectic guru Anhar Setjadibrata.
