Indonesia Design along with The Peak Connoisseurs and the 18th Restaurant at Trans Luxury Hotel presented a blind tasting of various kinds of food and wine.
The purpose of being blindfolded and tasting blindly was to educate the palate and to ensure that guests formulate unbiased opinions about food and wine. At this event, the guests had to taste a variety of flavours served as haute cuisine by Chef Michael Deutsch and the kitchen team of Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung together with a trio of fine wines: sparkling, white and rosé wine. The selection of the foods include 'Candied Scallop', 'Scampi Tempura Roll', 'Blue Cheese, Pear and Melon', 'Beef Tenderloin', 'Chili Infused Dark Chocolate Marquise' and 'Raspberry and While Chocolate.' All of the guests enjoyed their tasting while guessing the ingredients.
