On World Kindness Day, Four Seasons properties across the globe bring kindness to their hotels through the medium of art. Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta launches an art fundraiser in collaboration with Can’s Gallery and Indonesia Design as the media partner. Twenty percent of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to HOPE Worldwide Indonesia, a non-profit organization that supports the education and healthcare needs of children from underprivileged communities. The event was attended by art enthusiasts including ambassadors.
World Kindness Day is to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which bridge the divides of race, religion, politics, gender and location. It’s commemorated on 13 November and was introduced in 1998 by World Kindness Movement, a coalition of nations' kindness NGOs. It is observed in many countries, including Canada, Australia, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Italy, India, and the UK.
Art Exhibition in Celebration of World Kindness Day exhibits 15 artworks curated by Can’s Gallery from 12 artists: Entang Wiharso, Arin Dwihartanto, Muklay, TuTu, Beatrix Hendriani, Naufal Abshar, Rizal Hasan, Ryol, Ummi Damas, Valasara, Win Dwi Laksono and Suraji.
The event is running from 13-30 November 2023 in the main lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta.
