Batik is one of Indonesia’s treasures that has earned the world’s attention. While there are many batik artists and designers, only few have the honour to have their works worn by nationally and globally famous personages. The late Iwan Tirta, a celebrated artist and trained advocate of batik was one of this few. The Iwan Tirta Private Collection is now available at their first ever flagship gallery, where clients are treated like VIPs.
