After an inspiring 16-day celebration of design and innovation, the Opulent Living 2025 exhibition concluded with a gesture that perfectly reflected its deeper purpose. Beyond presenting beauty and luxury, the organisers and vendors wished to extend the exhibition’s impact to the wider community, particularly those in need. To achieve this, a special charity auction was held, transforming artistic expression into meaningful support.
The Gold Cort Guitar from PVD Paint
One of the most anticipated items is a striking centrepiece taken from The Jetty installation by renowned architect Cosmas Gozali. At its heart is a one-of-a-kind Cort guitar, created exclusively for the exhibition. More than just a display piece, the guitar is fully functional, showcasing Cort’s impeccable craftsmanship. As Indonesia’s largest guitar manufacturer, trusted globally by iconic brands such as Ibanez, PRS, and Squier, Cort has long been recognised for excellence, and this custom guitar reflects their mastery. Its sculptural form blends art and music, making it not only a powerful visual statement but also a collector’s gem with genuine performance capability. For musicians and art collectors alike, the auction presents a rare chance to own an instrument that holds both cultural significance and artistic depth.
The Limited-Edition Rimowa x Vitra Stool from MOIE
The auction lineup grows even more exceptional with the addition of another collector’s treasure: the Rimowa x Vitra Stool from MOIE. This limited-edition collaboration merges two design powerhouses: Rimowa, synonymous with premium travel engineering, and Vitra, a global leader in modern interior design. Only 1,000 pieces of this stool were produced worldwide, and they rapidly sold out across the globe, making the Opulent Living 2025 auction a rare opportunity for enthusiasts who missed the original release.
The piece carries signature Rimowa aesthetics: grooved aluminium panels, refined leather strapping, and precision craftsmanship. Yet it is not merely a beautiful object; it is ingeniously multifunctional. When opened, the stool reveals internal storage lined with signature Vitra fabric and accented with leather dividers, forming elegant compartments for personal items. A detachable padded cushion sits on top, transforming the piece effortlessly from travel-inspired storage to luxurious seating. It embodies the spirit of functional design, where form and purpose coexist seamlessly.
Every rupiah raised was donated directly to Yayasan Indonesia Peduli Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, a foundation dedicated to supporting children with special needs across Indonesia.
Through this charitable auction, the spirit of Opulent Living 2025 extends far beyond the exhibition floor. It becomes a celebration not only of craftsmanship and luxury but also of compassion, solidarity, and the belief that design can make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
