With a legacy spanning more than 70 years, Hariom’s Tailor stands as one of Indonesia’s most respected bespoke menswear ateliers, having dressed some of the nation’s most prominent figures. This heritage took centre stage aboard Opulent Living 2025, where the brand transformed its installation into a showcase of refined menswear and exceptional craftsmanship.
The evening opened with a warm welcome from Amrit Vaswani, the third-generation owner of Hariom’s Tailor, who greeted guests from the sun deck and set the tone for an immersive celebration of tailoring and culture.
The programme continued with a stylish trunk show featuring Hariom’s muses, followed by a live suit-making demonstration. Guests observed the subtleties of bespoke creation, from meticulous fabric selection to hand-stitched finishing, which revealed the artistry that has kept the brand at the forefront for decades.
Hariom’s latest collection featured luxurious fabrics from Ermenegildo Zegna, suited to both formal and casual wear. The showcase also included selections from other esteemed textile houses, along with footwear by Mario Minardi, adding a uniquely Indonesian touch to the tailored ensembles.
Guests were served traditional vegetarian Indian dishes and refreshing mango lassi, enriching the cultural depth of the evening. A surprise Best Dressed Award brought the event to a warm and joyful close.
More than a fashion-themed gathering on board a design and architecture exhibition, this was a celebration of craftsmanship, culture and connection, and a testament to how design can extend beyond physical space to shape a richer lifestyle experience.
