ARCH:ID Returns for the 5th Time with the Theme Performative Archipelagos

5/7/2025

Returning for the 5th time, ARCH:ID presents 550 booths and 150+ exhibitors on 8 – 11 May 2025. This event will enable visitors to discover the latest trends in architecture and design, learn directly from industry experts, and strengthen business networks. This year’s theme, “Performative Archipelago”, highlights how architecture and related industries can respond to the diverse dynamics of Indonesia through adaptability and contextual relevance.

In the 13,000 square meter venue that encompasses halls 5-7 at ICE BSD, among hundreds of exhibitors, visitors would be able to find 25 curated booths, 7 featured exhibitions, and 3 installations. A press conference held earlier in April revealed Saling X Silang as one of the featured exhibitions with its main installation, Pusaran. Ten collaborators are set to take part in Pusaran, representing a dynamic force of interdisciplinary collaborations.

Speaking of installations, one to anticipate is the Khatulistiwa Bridge, which brings the potential to connect the loftiest ideas rising into tangible reality without any shadow, just like the solar culmination at the equator.

While ARCH:ID 2025 makes an enriching option for your weekend, the first two days which fall on Thursday and Friday present two conferences that feature world-renowned speakers, such as Anies Baswedan, Chris Panfil, Huang Yi Chun, Jesse Reiser, and Nanako Umemoto. The conference, to be held in the Nusantara Hall, will be divided into two daily sessions: The Urban Forum and The Architecture Forum which will explore groundbreaking ideas that are redefining our built environment.
