Returning for its fourth edition, ICAD By The Bay Vol. 04 brings contemporary art, thoughtful design and Indonesia’s creative spirit together in an inspiring public showcase. Taking place from 18–27 September 2026, the exhibition forms part of Indonesia Design Week at the Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK 2, Tangerang, with free admission throughout the event.

Presented in collaboration with ICAD and EKRAF, this year’s programme embraces the theme Art for Everyone, inviting visitors to encounter creativity beyond the traditional gallery setting. At the Emporium Marble tenant showroom, a curated contemporary art exhibition explores the relationship between art, materiality, architecture and everyday living. Here, artworks enter into conversation with their surroundings, revealing how creativity can enrich the spaces and objects that shape daily life.

The experience continues at the Townhall Extension Area, where a lively pop-up market will introduce selected local brands and EKRAF intellectual properties. From fashion and accessories to creative merchandise and culinary discoveries, the market provides a welcoming platform for Indonesian talents to meet wider audiences. It also supports the commercial growth of local products, particularly creative works with the potential to reach international markets.

Visitors can look forward to interactive and outdoor installations, public-facing spatial works, and collaborations with designers, craftspeople and creative studios, including WIRA Atelier. Each presentation reflects the event’s cross-disciplinary character, connecting contemporary art with design, science, lifestyle and activism.

An extension of ICAD 15 in Kemang, ICAD By The Bay Vol. 04 offers more than an exhibition. It is an open invitation to explore, shop, connect and see creativity from a fresh perspective, by the bay, and close to everyday life.
