The fifth edition of Art Moments Jakarta (AMJ) is going to take place from 4-6 November 2022 at the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City, South Jakarta. It will display artworks from seasoned artists and the younger generation in conventional forms as well as NFT. Other than that, more special displays and programs are going to surprise art lovers!
At the press conference on 12 October 2022, Co-Founder and Fair Directore of Art Moments Jakarta Sendy Widjaja said that the best art-viewing experience is done directly, offline. However, this edition of AMJ will still be in hybrid form, with the online version running from 4 November 2022 – 4 January 2023 on www.artmomentsjakarta.com. It is a good thing because more people will be able to see it from anywhere in the world. That way, hopefully AMJ can further support the development of the art ecosystem.

Featured Artists in Art Moments Jakarta 2022
AMJ 2022 will be the first feature renowned artists such as Miwa Komatsu, Andrey Ostashov, Made Wianta, Handrio and Nyoman Nuarta. Supporting the NFT art, it will also highlight several South East Asian digital artists like Diela Maharani, Arya Mularama, Tommy Chandra, Sarisa Kojima, Marion Olmillo and Hamlatul Armsy.
AMJ 2022 will also collaborate with Johnnie Walker Blue Label. They will provide a medium for 3D works with the image of Johnnie Walker’s Striding Man, which will be responded by a few artists including Agus Suwage. The results will go on a silent auction, where the proceeds will be donated to Women’s International Club’s charity program. There will also be an NFT giveaway for a few lucky visitors.
Tips on Becoming An Art Collector
Deborah Iskandar, the VIP Relation Manager of AMJ 2022, encourage anyone to come and not be intimidated by arts. “If you want to be an art collector, you need to come and see many kinds of galleries and art exhibitions to find out what kinds of art you really like. “Any business has its ups and downs. You need to do research before deciding which artworks to buy. And know that art collection is a long-term investment,” she added.
