Bon Voyage in Luxurious Style

“Bon Voyage” captures the essence of refined living on the water, where modern luxury rises in harmony with the serene rhythm of the sea. It is a poetic immersion into a lifestyle defined not by the destination but by the journey itself. The interior unfolds like the penthouse suite of a private yacht, with every curve shaped to echo movement, fluidity, and freedom. Surfaces appear to glide, and each line feels drawn by the wind, giving the impression of a design in motion.

The building embraces the horizon with cinematic intention. Expansive glazing frames the sky and shimmering cityscape, dissolving the boundaries between exterior and interior. The world outside becomes part of the composition, changing with time and light like an ever-evolving mural. Warm wood panels sweep across the walls and ceilings with the grace of a vessel’s hull, while polished metallic accents recall the craftsmanship of fine marine engineering. It is a space designed to be both visually striking and deeply felt, where tactile warmth meets structural precision.

Inside, the atmosphere is one of quiet grandeur. A palette of soft neutrals, gentle amber illumination, and deep gloss finishes evokes the glow of the golden hour reflected on calm waters. Furniture seems to float within the open layout, arranged with the restraint of a seasoned yachtsman. Nothing feels excessive or incidental. Comfort becomes an art form, inviting and instinctive yet grounded in balance and proportion. The interior becomes a living portrait of power and grace existing side by side.

“Opulent Voyage” celebrates contemporary nomadism, a life that remains unanchored yet deeply refined. It reflects the spirit of those who move with intention, live with elegance, and carry within them an endless horizon. The meaning lies not only in motion but also in the beauty of the spaces one brings along the way, shaped by curiosity, discovery, and an appreciation for craftsmanship.

This philosophy extends into the bathroom, envisioned as a private deck of indulgence. Circular in form, the space becomes a sanctuary where marble artistry meets soft transparency. Inspired by the architecture of a ship’s observatory, the room floats in light and reflection. Here, bathing becomes more than routine. It is a moment of pause, introspection, and pleasure, the purest expression of luxury.

Behind this vision stands Alex Bayusaputro, a global interior architect and designer whose work connects Southeast Asia with the wider world. Indra Lesmana

Indra Lesmana is a sculptor and three-dimensional artist from Yogyakarta who has developed a distinctive approach to contemporary moulded sculpture. Known for his bold forms and playful reinterpretations of familiar figures, he combines artistic imagination with meticulous craftsmanship. Commissioned by Alex Bayusaputro, Indra created the “Bon Voyage” balloon sculpture in resin, an artwork designed to complement the interior concept and introduce a sense of whimsy and movement into the space. He also showcased one of his sought-after limited-edition T. Rex balloon sculptures, with only fifty pieces in existence. The work became an opulent artistic statement for the event, reflecting refined humour and collectible exclusivity.

Having been introduced to Alex only a month earlier through Galeri Zen1, Indra expressed great honour in being invited to collaborate. The commission marks a meaningful milestone in his artistic journey, and his contemporary works continue to resonate with collectors and design visionaries alike.
