It’s also a dialogue between taste and texture, aroma and ambiance, and design and detail. At IDD, each coffee shop is not merely a pit stop for caffeine lovers but a creative expression of the country’s flourishing creative industry, brought to life by some of the nation’s most celebrated architects and interior designers.

Whether you’re a connoisseur seeking the perfect brew or a design enthusiast in search of inspiration, the cafés at IDD promise a sensory journey that transcends the ordinary. If you’re planning a visit to IDD PIK2, be sure to explore these coffee destinations. Each offers its own unique architectural identity and storytelling charm, reflecting the spirit of contemporary Indonesian design.

Guten Morgen at Pavilion 120

Located within Pavilion 120 at the Indonesian Design District, Guten Morgen is a thoughtfully designed coffee shop by renowned architect Andra Matin. Known for his signature minimalist style, Andra integrates glulam (glued laminated timber), marking Southeast Asia’s tallest structure of its kind, alongside glass and aluminum to create a warm, contemporary space. The result is a cosy yet refined atmosphere where natural light and wooden textures converge harmoniously. More than just a café, Pavilion 120 also functions as a gallery and rooftop event space, making Guten Morgen a destination for both design enthusiasts and coffee lovers alike.

Morph at MM Galleri

Morph Bar & Tapas, located within the 1,000-square-meter MM Galleri showroom, offers a sophisticated lounge experience where design, flavours, and conversation converge. Designed by CNS Designworks, the space features sculptural interiors and marble-rich surfaces that highlight MM Galleri’s expertise in material innovation. More than just a stylish bar serving cocktails and tapas, Morph also provides the perfect setting for daytime meetings or evening unwinds, complemented by a curated coffee selection. As part of MM Galleri’s vision to serve as a dynamic community hub, visitors can explore a range of spaces, including a cigar lounge, amphitheatre, kitchen and dining area, and immersive material displays. Here, architects, designers, clients, and the public can celebrate togetherness and creativity. It’s where design is not only seen but fully experienced.

Today, it offers a bistro-style menu featuring handcrafted dishes such as Avocado Toast, Pempek, Tekwan, and Shakshuka. Designed by Helen Agustine Studio, the space blends minimalist sensibility with thoughtful detail, creating a warm, contemporary environment that draws in creatives, professionals, and coffee lovers alike.
