Indonesia Design launched its 86th edition, themed Defining Luxury, in a private cocktail party. This theme is published annually, and this year we have renowned fashion accessory designer Rinaldy A. Yunardi to design our front cover. “The more I design, the more I fall in love with diamonds. Its hard character shows its durability and strength, just like love, and I hope that our passion is as hard as this material. Hence for the cover, I presented work depicting this material, with a heart on top to represent our passion,” said Rinaldy during the event. We exhibited some of his works including a tiara, his first creation, at the event.
Welcome remarks were given by our editor-in-chief Lina Gan. All guests received a complimentary Golden Circle membership from Shangri-La and lucky winners got door prizes from Shangri-La Jakarta, Riedel, Iwan Tirta Private Collection, Clayze by Arti Gidwani and Red&White Wine. The event was attended by ambassadors, designers, clients and those who contributed to this edition.
