On 24 November 2023, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta held the Christmas Tree Lighting and a media dinner at Jakarta & The Courtyard. It also announced several festive programmes for the year-end that include culinary specials and gifts!
The Christmas tree lit beautifully against the night sky. The sparkles brightened up the Jakarta & The Courtyard restaurant, where a diverse array of offerings including local markets, brunch, and dinners was served.
For the media dinner, Chef Emmanuel Julio prepared a variety of dishes from several areas of Indonesia, especially areas where Christmas is widely celebrated. The menu included brenebon soup from North Sulawesi, selat solo from Central Java, and pindang serani soup from Kampung Tugu, Jakarta.
The buffet menu was a preview of the Christmas Eve Dinner that will be served on 24 December 2023 at 7-10 pm, and Christmas Day Brunch on 25 December 2023 at 11.30 am-3 pm. The menu selection included a variety of pasta, the succulent Christmas turkey, flavourful roasted US prime OP ribs, an assortment of cheeses and charcuterie, and heaps more mouth-watering options.
To complete the celebration of Christmas, there will also be a Christmas Market on 1-10 December 2023 at 10 am-8 pm. Located at The Courtyard, the Christmas Market invites you to discover delightful holiday treats, explore unique handcrafted gifts, and bask in the sweet aroma of seasonal goodies.
The year-end holidays mark the season of giving. The hotel offers its signature Christmas hampers collection, containing selections of classic cookies to traditional Christmas-themed cakes, accompanied with The Dharmawangsa Jakarta’s signature tea or coffee. Festive Hampers are available in 3 options: Classic Hampers, Joyful Hampers and Star Hampers. Aside from that, there is also another option Traditional Indonesian Hampers, which are available in 3 options: Ayam Kodok, Selat Solo, and Klappertart.
Experience the New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Brunch with an opulent buet spread of exquisite dishes, from fresh sushi and sashimi to an array of decadent French pastries. Stay up until midnight to welcome the New Year, accompanied by light bites and live music from Fabiolla & DJ. The New Year’s Eve Dinner will be on 31 December 2023 at 7 pm-0.30 am, while the New Year’s Brunch will be on 1 January 2024 at 11.30 am–3 pm.
