Finding Modern Time Icons

I personally believe that the evolution of human civilization can be measured by the design icons that are created during each period of our existence on this earth. From the tower of Babel in the biblical times to I.M Pei’s most renowned, yet controversial, glass pyramid at the Louvre. These are just some of the most iconic designs that may have lasted for decades or even centuries. In this article, I gathered nine of modern times most iconic designs that I have found all around the world during my travels from Copenhagen to Matakana over the years. They are unique, renowned and some even controversial; but in the end they have become new design icons for this digital era.
