Hong Kong maintains its distinguished position as Asia’s leading hub for trade fairs, attracting global business leaders for key industry events. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 27th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and 10th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo are scheduled for 27-30 October 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and 28-31 October 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo, respectively. Under the theme “Illuminated Designs for a Smarter Future,” the twin lighting shows will gather some 3,000 global exhibitors, forming a world-renowned lighting marketplace with bright business opportunities.
The two lighting fairs will dazzle visitors with a vibrant showcase of innovation and creativity. Award-winning designs captivated with their aesthetic brilliance and sustainable concepts, while live demonstrations of signature lighting projects offered insights into cutting-edge applications. Visitors can immerse themselves in diverse lighting experiences that blend art and technology. Other focuses include silver market applications that enhance comfort and accessibility for aging populations, as well as smart city solutions and green technologies that present a forward-looking vision for urban development and environmental stewardship.
Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) @ HKCEC
This year’s Autumn Lighting Fair will once again spotlight the highly anticipated Hall of Connected Lighting, a signature attraction featuring pioneering designs, innovative products, and cutting-edge smart solutions. Smart solutions that show current market trends, like AI features, health and wellness products, and innovations for older adults, will be displayed in a specially designed area, such as an artisan cafe created by Casambi and illuminated by ERCO, providing an engaging lighting experience.
The Hall of Aurora remains one of the most popular destinations for buyers, bringing together some 540 elite brands. This renowned showcase features an exceptional selection of lighting products from globally recognised names, including local pioneers Prosperity Group and Megaman; major players from Mainland China such as Leedarson, Tospo, and UP-shine; as well as international brands like Lival from Finland, Cupower from Germany, and Steab from Italy.

Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo (Hall 6, 8 at AsiaWorld-Expo)
The Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will take place from 28 to 31 October at AsiaWorld-Expo, offering a dynamic sourcing platform for buyers seeking the latest in outdoor, commercial, and industrial lighting solutions that support the development of smart cities. This year’s Expo continues to feature a comprehensive selection of thematic lighting zones that spotlight emerging technologies and application-driven innovations. The Smart Pole and Solution zone showcases innovative solutions to optimise energy efficiency while enhancing the quality of life for urban residents. The Horticultural Lighting zone brings forward advanced plant lighting technologies and versatile fixtures suited for outdoor parks and residential gardens. The Outdoor and Public Lighting zone continues to highlight lamps designed for outdoor public spaces and advertising purposes. The Technical & Professional Lighting zone goes beyond offering various lighting fixtures tailored for professional settings such as warehouses and production facilities.
Program Activities to Get Updated Trends
The twin lighting shows will feature a dynamic lineup of seminars, product launches, and networking events. Continuing from last year, the Innovative Lighting Design Forum will take place on 27 October at the HKCEC, spotlighting two key themes: “City Design • Design City: Lighting Design Bound Up with Daily Life” and “RCEP Opportunities Shining Through Cultural Lighting Design.” Renowned international and local company representatives and lighting designers will present leading design cases from various regions, offering insights into the latest industry trends. Following that, the Connected Lighting Forum on 28 October will focus on two future-forward topics: the ecosystem of smart living and sustainable lighting development, fostering engaging discussions on smart technology integration and environmental innovation. Additionally, the “Illuminating the Cycle: Outdoor Lighting Designs for a Sustainable Future” seminar will take place on 28 October at AsiaWorld-Expo, exploring the sustainable evolution of outdoor lighting solutions.
