Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD) enlivens the Indonesia Design District (IDD) again with the curated exhibition ICAD by The Bay Vol 3, which this year carries the theme "Road to Earth Society." Presenting the work of 50 contemporary artists and designers, this exhibition will be held from 12 to 30 September 2025 at the Marble Emporium, the Town Hall area, and the outdoor area at IDD, Pantai Indah Kapuk 2.

ICAD by The Bay is a form of expanding the spirit and reach of the creative industry to the northern area of Jakarta as part of the development of ICAD 15, which is located in the Kemang area, South Jakarta. ICAD by The Bay Vol. 3, "Road to Earth Society," represents the curatorial direction of ICAD 15, which raised "Earth Society" as the main theme.

For 15 years, ICAD has consistently encouraged cross-disciplinary collaboration between artists and designers, as well as supported the birth of contemporary works through art and design events and activities at the Grand Kemang Hotel and its surroundings in South Jakarta. Pantai Indah Kapuk, especially the Indonesia Design District (IDD) area, is the right pocket to expand the economic growth of the creative industry, which continues to be driven by ICAD.

Through the theme "Earth Society," ICAD presents a spirit of creative collaboration in this year's edition, both in Kemang and IDD. As a space that is both reflective and speculative, “Earth Society” invites interdisciplinary dialogue between art and science, activism, technology, and local knowledge. Here, the exhibition is not the end of the process but rather the starting point of meaningful change.

ICAD will transform the IDD Marble Emporium Building, covering an area around 1,200 sqm, into a museum-like space through artistic arrangements that respond to the natural character of the rock panels. The top floor will focus on the Special Appearance zone, presenting the launch of Ghea Home as a celebration of 45 years of creative journey from senior fashion designer Ghea Panggabean. For the first time, Ghea Home presents interior products and accessories that will decorate the spaces in the Saniharto showroom, side by side with premium furniture from Saniharto.

The Art for Everyone zone will colour the ground floor of the building. Here, visitors can explore works of art from a number of artists in the form of paintings, objects, and limited-edition prints in a variety of price ranges—from affordable works to prestigious collections. In addition, there is a Spotlight zone, which will display interactive works.

Also present outdoors, the Art Under the Sun zone will fill the IDD Outdoor Area with three-dimensional works from various contemporary Indonesian artists.

There's also a Pop-Up Zone, which is located in the IDD Town Hall and invites visitors to explore various products curated by ICAD. Artists and designers who will enliven ICAD by The Bay Vol. 3 include Agung, Mohammad Taufiq (Emte), Rizal Misilu, Dolorosa Sinaga, and many more. This event also collaborates with a number of art galleries, such as Rachel Gallery, Unicorn Gallery, and Lanö Contemporary Art Gallery.
