iD's Top 10 Bestselling Editions

For over 16 years and more than 100 editions printed, iD has been the go-to magazine for design in Indonesia. We have been collaborating with countless developers, hoteliers, designers and the likes to produce compelling content. To honour the collaborations we have done in the past, we reveal our top 10 bestselling editions.

16th Anniversary (No. 95)

Our 16th Anniversary front cover features four designers whose collaboration culminated in the inaugural event Bintaro Design District (BDD). In celebration of our 16th anniversary, we presented our very first edition on Collaborations, something so crucial and a sexy word to the design world nowadays.

Defining Luxury (No. 91)

The stunning lobby of the Apurva Kempinski Bali on this edition’s cover defines luxury with its opulence and majesty. In this edition, we featured dreamy homes to extravagant yachts and hotels with great design that defines luxury.

Home & Living (No. 90)

This edition’s cover was illustrated by renowned designer, Erwin Hawawinata. In this Home & Living edition, we featured an inspiring range of living spaces with different styles that reflect the personalities and lifestyles of the homeowners.

Home & Living (No. 78)

In this Home & Living edition, we featured The Rosebay, a low-rise residence at Graha Famili in Surabaya as our front cover. With more people in the big cities of Indonesia choosing to live in apartments, we discussed this property’s equally homely feel to a landed property and more exquisite homes across the country.

Apartments (No. 75)

Taking the lead from the growing popularity of apartment living in Indonesia, we jumped on the bandwagon by devoting this entire issue to apartments. We took an in-depth look at six state-of-the-art city apartments and their wow factors. On the cover of this edition is the Izzara Apartment in Jakarta.

New Hotels (No. 71)

In this edition, we picked 15 new hotels across major tourist destinations in Indonesia, each with its own uniqueness and style. Gracing this cover is the Mandapa, A Ritz Carlton Reserve, a swanky resort in Ubud, Bali.

Contemporary Designs (No. 51)

In this edition, we discussed contemporary designs and trends across many disciplines including art and properties. We featured the lobby of Sinar Mas Land Plaza in BSD City on this edition’s cover to represent contemporary development in Indonesia.

8th Anniversary Edition

The first of our anniversary edition, we considered our eighth year of publication as an important age, a mature one for a magazine that specialises in architecture and interior design. Themed Editor’s Choice, here we gave an overview of what we had worked on from the beginning. On the cover of this edition is the bird’s eye view of mixed-used development of Ciputra World Jakarta, one of the biggest developers in the country.

Exclusive Edition 2010: Signature Properties in Jakarta

Our special edition in 2010 looked at projects by one of the biggest developers in Indonesia, Agung Podomoro Group (APG). The group offered solutions to city dwellers who are often stuck in traffic by establishing a city within a city called Pluit City, as featured on this edition’s cover.

New Properties in Bali (No. 38)

For this edition’s cover, we featured a 3D rendering of the Sahid Kuta Lifestyle Resort Beachwalk Bali by The Paradise Group. In this issue, we discussed and highlighted the mushrooming villa and condotel developments in Bali along with their fresh designs, facilities and marketing strategies.
