The word “ideantity” derives from the words “idea” and “identity,” emphasizing the importance of originality rooted in cultural context. By spotlighting Indonesian perspectives, IDW positions itself among major international design events like Milan Design Week and Tokyo Design Week, aspiring to become a leading reference point in Asia.
With over 200 participating brands occupying the main halls and outdoor corridors, the festival presents an impressive array of exhibits. The offerings include furniture showcases, monumental art installations, new product unveilings, experimental design labs, and curated installation tours that stretch across the entire IDD area.
Entering the IDW 2025 area, visitors will find many new experiences. There is Skala Raka, an exhibition concept that combines furniture, sports equipment, and garage design designed by Bobos and Dzha. Explore a variety of unique installations. Visitors who walk along the Townhall will find unique installations from X Museum Macau, Millimeter Manifesto, Managreen Installation, A.E.O x Studio Nianin, Koma Komorebi, Viro x Tulola, and Manawa Lighting Installation.
