“When I first envisioned this office, I wanted to craft a space that blended elegance, functionality, and inspiration, utilising a modern classic design theme. My goal was to create an environment that fosters productivity whilst evoking a sense of comfort and creativity, ensuring that everyone feels both empowered and at ease,” Willy explains.
“The inspiration for this design stemmed from a fusion of modern architectural philosophies and the tranquillity of nature, particularly through the use of blue and grey classic tones. I was drawn to the concept of firm yet elegant design. It integrates natural elements such as warm wood textures for flooring, fluid transitions between spaces, and an abundance of natural light to cultivate a serene yet invigorating atmosphere,” he continues.

Soft and ambient lighting by in-Lite casts a refined glow, whilst a thoughtfully chosen colour palette evokes tranquillity and inspiration. “Ultimately, I want our clients to leave with a lasting impression of trust and admiration, assured of our expertise and inspired by the creativity and precision that define Evonil. Transforming a House into an Office
This space was once a home; a place built to provide warmth, shelter and cherished memories. When the vision emerged to transform it into an office studio and workshop, the challenge was to preserve its original charm whilst harmoniously integrating a professional, dynamic workspace. The goal was not merely to convert but to harmonise. The space boasts a delicate fusion of functionality and warmth where business and living could coexist effortlessly.
Architecturally, the transition required careful planning. The ground floor was thoughtfully reimagined to accommodate a refined yet inviting workspace, which is open and collaborative yet structured for efficiency. Defined zones include a material sample display area, a meeting room, dedicated spaces for the finance and purchasing teams, a design team workspace, and an exterior workshop for carpentry and steelwork. Meanwhile, the upper floor retained its residential essence, offering a serene retreat above the workday rhythms. It offers privacy and tranquillity whilst staying connected to the energy below.

Amongst the many thoughtfully designed spaces in the office, the meeting room captivates Willy the most. It is more than just a physical space. It embodies balance that harmoniously blends form and function as well as aesthetics and purpose. “What draws me to this area is how it breathes life into the office. In soft, natural light, it exudes quiet elegance, inviting inspiration and tranquillity. From the meeting room, we have a direct view of the material display sample area, which reinforces a connection between creativity and practicality,” he shares.
Beyond its visual appeal, this space serves as a sanctuary within the workday rhythm. It is a place where discussions spark new ideas and moments of solitude nurture clarity. Whether used for client meetings, internal collaborations, or quiet contemplation, the room adapts to the needs of those who enter, offering energy and respite in equal measure.
“And as a personal touch, I’ve added several F1 circuit track replicas on the wall, which reflect my passion for the automotive world as a hobby,” he concludes the conversation.
