MONDIAL, a luxury jewellery brand that has been around since 1979, continues its collaboration with Nicholas Saputra in the MONDIAL Precious collection. This time, the second collection from MONDIAL Precious is called MONDIAL Precious–Fire Collection. To celebrate the release of the latest collection from MONDIAL Precious, MONDIAL is holding an exhibition located at The Warehouse, Plaza Indonesia Jakarta, from 1-28 February 2025.
MONDIAL Precious Fire Exhibition is also filled with various art installations created by Iwan Yusuf, the artist who is the founder of Studio Jaring, and curated by Heri Pemad, the art director of this exhibition. When it opened on 1 February 2025, this exhibition was attended by a number of public figures, media editors, influencers, and VIP customers. On the opening day of the MONDIAL Precious Fire exhibition, Diskoria's performance was also enlivened.
Leslie Christian Saputra, General Manager of MONDIAL, said, "During our collaboration with Nicholas Saputra, we never ceased to be amazed by his innovative insights. After consistently carrying out the concept of "basic geometry", this time Nicholas tries to present the natural element, namely "Fire", as the identity of this latest MONDIAL Precious collection. MONDIAL Precious Fire has three sub-collections consisting of "The Fiery Flame", "The Blue Flame", and "Gradiore in Fire" as a symbol of the combination of fine jewellery and courage and eternity."
Nicholas Saputra, MONDIAL Brand Ambassador and Creative Director of the MONDIAL Precious collection revealed that he is trying to explore more widely precious stones in this second collection from MONDIAL Precious.
"In this second collection from MONDIAL Precious, I no longer display basic geometry. The MONDIAL Precious Fire Collection tries to explore "Fire," which is one of the natural elements formed from the movement process of "Simple Geometry". For the precious stones used in the MONDIAL Precious Fire collection, I still choose to use blue sapphire and red ruby because the combination of the two as primary colours can produce a unique combination. "In the future, I also hope that the MONDIAL Precious Fire collection can ultimately become an inspiration for many people, especially jewellery lovers in Indonesia."
Meanwhile, Iwan Yusuf, founder of Studio Jaring and installation artist at the MONDIAL Precious Fire Exhibition, said, "Fire as a natural element is an embodiment of passion, energy and elegance. I then tried to make this happen through art installations that were in line with MONDIAL's vision when creating his latest collection with Nicholas Saputra entitled MONDIAL Precious Fire."
Heri Pemad, the art director of the MONDIAL Precious Fire Exhibition art installation, expressed his appreciation and admiration for this event.
"The exhibition held by MONDIAL is a good breakthrough, especially in relation to Indonesian artists. Jewellery as a form of art should receive more attention in the eyes of the Indonesian people. Artists can also become better known in society through exhibitions like the one held by MONDIAL.”
