Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre stands out amidst the bustling urban landscape, with its sleek, contemporary exterior and visually striking façade. The thoughtfully designed landscaping adds a refreshing touch of greenery, enhancing the hotel’s overall aesthetic appeal.
Upon entering the hotel, guests are greeted by a luxurious lobby on the upper ground floor, featuring modern décor, plush furnishings, and an inviting atmosphere. The combination of contemporary design elements from the Swiss Mövenpick Hotels brand and the natural and airy layout creates a sophisticated yet welcoming ambience. Thus, it sets the tone for an unforgettable stay.
The hotel boasts 256 meticulously designed guest rooms and suites, ranging from Classic and Executive Rooms to Deluxe Suites, the expansive Premier Suite, and the lavish Presidential Suite, offering 116 square meters of living space. Each room features plush furnishings, luxurious bedding, and state-of-the-art amenities, including a 65” smart widescreen TV, all complementing Mövenpick’s signature modern style and homey atmosphere.
Budiman Hendropurnomo, the design principal at Denton Corker Marshall Jakarta, oversaw the complete renovation of what is now Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre. He explains that the hotel exudes a vibrant sense of newness and luxury, combined with a homelike atmosphere. “Guests understand that staying in a hotel is different from being at home, but they still crave that homey feeling.” He also notes that the most successful area is the mezzanine-level patio, where guests can relax or smoke after checking in.
Mövenpick, a pioneer in the Swiss restaurant scene, has evolved into a premium international hotel brand with culinary excellence at its core. The hotel features eight dining outlets, each offering something unique.
Antoine Weinstein, the hotel’s general manager, emphasises the importance of food and beverage offerings at Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre. Despite being located near the culinary hub of Pecenongan, the hotel’s dining options allow guests to satisfy their cravings without leaving the premises. “Ginger Flower highlights Indonesian cuisine, while Wilde Cut Grill & Wine is our take on a steakhouse with premium cuts from around the world,” Antoine explains.
The 717 Creamery Dessert Bar caters to sweet cravings with handcrafted delights, and Supremo Specialty Coffee & Roastery serves expertly brewed Indonesian coffee. Additional dining options include La Floriane Bistro, which presents European cuisine, and Song Xiang Lou, specialising in authentic Cantonese dishes. Eldoris Pool & Bar and Clemente Pavilion on the 6th floor provide relaxed settings with terraces overlooking the pool and cityscape.
As part of Mövenpick’s cherished tradition, the hotel hosts a daily “Chocolate Hour” at the 717 Creamery Dessert Bar, offering guests a chance to indulge in a variety of gourmet chocolate creations—a unique experience that allows them to savour this global tradition.
A premier destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), the hotel features two contemporary ballrooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The property’s event spaces are ideal for corporate functions, social gatherings, and weddings. A dedicated team of professionals ensures that every event is executed flawlessly.
In line with Accor’s commitment to sustainability, the hotel has implemented several green initiatives. It is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact by eliminating single- use plastics and harnessing solar energy through rooftop panels. Last but not the least, the hotel offers specialised services to accommodate guests with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience.
