This exclusive collection draws inspiration from Indonesia’s cherished national flower, the jasmine (melati), symbolizing purity, serenity, and timeless beauty.

Tex Saverio, renowned for his avant-garde couture and dramatic storytelling in fashion, brings his artistry to the realm of interior design through this collaboration. The Melati Collection features three hero pieces, which are Mahkota (armoire—an ornamental piece of furniture featuring intricate carvings and detailed designs), Jenar (a versatile credenza), and Sekar (a focal table that balances refined aesthetics with structural innovation), all crafted with Saniharto’s signature dedication to sustainability and precision. Designed with dark brown oak, brass accents, and gold trim, each piece evokes the softness of jasmine petals while embodying elevated sophistication.

A Celebration of Heritage and Craft
The collaboration was born out of Merysia Enggalhardjo’s admiration for Tex Saverio’s distinctive artistry, which led her to approach the designer with the idea of translating his creative vision into Saniharto furniture. The concept was met with enormous enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a meaningful creative partnership. Saniharto then invited Francine Denise, with whom they previously collaborated in 2019 for the Alice Collection, to help bring this vision to life.
This five-year creative journey culminates in the Melati Collection, a symbolic tribute to Saniharto’s 35 years of excellence. The Enggalhardjo brothers—Santoso, Yani, Harsono, and Winarto—established the company Saniharto in 1990, and its name is an acronym of their names, symbolizing unity, legacy, and shared aspiration.
