Architect & Their Signature Style
It is indeed difficult to talk about architecture without delving into the
process of planning, designing and constructing. When the Roman architect Vitruvius gave his view about architecture through his book ‘De Architectura,’ the three basic architectural elements for an ideal building were born: firmitas, utilitas, venustas (sturdiness, usefulness, beauty). Yet the most interesting concepts of architecture that we are familiar with today were developed and improved in the 19th and 20th century. Famed architects of this era presented norms, which are then developed into today’s architecture styles. The same norms also allow prominent names in the design world to devise their greatest works. These styles eventually ensure that the field of architecture is something that is long lasting, a subject that is unchanged by time and all of the dynamics that follow it.
