Through the iD Pavilion, Indonesia Design joins Sandimas in celebrating the 23rd edition of Megabuild Indonesia, the country’s leading platform for the building and construction industry. Held at NICE PIK 2 alongside the 11th edition of Keramika Indonesia and Megaproperty Expo 2026, the exhibition brings architecture, building materials, interior design, ceramics, construction and property together within an integrated ecosystem that encourages innovation across the built environment.
As one of Indonesia’s leading tile and surface brands, Sandimas shares Megabuild’s commitment to advancing the industry through innovative materials, fine craftsmanship and technological progress. This shared vision comes to life through the iD Pavilion, conceived by Harry Fatkan of Realino Design&Contract as more than a conventional product showcase. The pavilion offers an immersive journey in which architecture, materiality, hospitality, craftsmanship and integrated technology come together as one cohesive experience.
The pavilion unfolds across three interconnected zones, each with its own character while remaining part of a continuous journey.
Visitors are first welcomed into an elegant reception area featuring a desk, trolley and bookshelf from Rifyo Lifestyle, accompanied by a Mercedes Benz G63, 2026 model, in Black Magno from Ivan’s Motor. Above, a dramatic starry ceiling installation by Cellux lends the space a sense of theatre. Chairs finished with Propan paint complete the setting, while Dextron’s smart home automation coordinates the lighting to create a warm first impression.
From here, the experience flows into the pavilion’s social heart: a contemporary bar where guests gather over Penfolds wines, canapés by Saja Group, %Arabica coffee, Terve chocolate, Let’s Go Gelato, sangria and traditional Indonesian gorengan served throughout the exhibition.
At the centre stands a sculptural column that doubles as a soaring bookshelf, framed by mature olive trees arranged by Tropica Greeneries. Overhead, Cellux’s signature starry ceiling is enriched by textured glass accents from Eztu Glass, while elegant pendant lamps presented by DAVINCI complete the composition. Bar stools finished with Propan paint and Dextron’s integrated smart home system further shape the mood throughout the day.
Opening naturally from the bar is a tropical backyard inspired by luxury resort living. The space is finished with Sandimas flooring in the same model specified for Indonesia’s National Museum and furnished with outdoor pieces by Hay and Ligne Roset from Rifyo Lifestyle’s collection. A soaking tub with a textured Propan finish, Oulu sanitaryware, an outdoor shower and lush landscaping by Tropica Greeneries create an inviting retreat that celebrates relaxed outdoor living.
Built by Mahakarya Jaya Konstruksi, the iD Pavilion represents more than a temporary exhibition installation. It shows how architecture, interior design, construction, landscape, lighting, smart technology, premium materials, automotive, hospitality and lifestyle brands can work together to create an experience greater than the sum of its parts.
Throughout Megabuild Indonesia 2026, the pavilion became a place where conversations flowed, partnerships took shape, milestones were celebrated and friendships grew stronger. Surrounded by carefully curated architecture and interior products, with technology enhancing the atmosphere rather than commanding attention, visitors encountered a space defined not simply by luxury, but by intention, warmth and collaboration.
Ultimately, the iD Pavilion reflects Indonesia Design’s belief that the future of the built environment will be shaped by strong partnerships across the creative industries and the fields of design, architecture, construction and technology. More than a presentation of beautiful products, the pavilion offered a shared vision of how collaboration can inspire meaningful innovation and contribute to the continued growth of architecture and design in Indonesia.
