In the contemporary landscape of design, the importance of collaboration has never been more pronounced. The Indonesia Design Week represents a confluence of creativity, culture, and community, showcasing how collective effort among designers can lead to groundbreaking ideas and solutions. Collaboration in design enables creators to exchange ideas freely and blend their unique insights to form a vision. IDW facilitates the emergence of innovative ideas by diverse collaborations. Indonesia Design learns that these collaborations foster culture and community involvement.
The collaboration approach by Indonesia Design Week has profound implications for the broader field of design. By encouraging designers to break boundaries and unify their talents, IDW creates a community that is resilient, adaptable, and responsive to change. The true essence of collaboration lies in the coexistence of perspectives, where each designer brings their unique idea to the table, culminating in a multifaceted final installation.
Bobos x dzha’s NISKALA RAGA
Niskala is something unexplored and invisible to the eye, while Raga means body.
Located in the heart of IDD, Niskala Raga brings a new breath amidst a landscape rich in a variety of architectural and interior creations. Designed as a space for movement and collaboration, Niskala Raga is a place for harmony between body and soul. Inspired by the beautiful hues of the natural surroundings—the blue sea of Jakarta, the green of the archipelago's forest trees, and the orange of the sunset. Built in the form of a clubhouse, the installation is here not only to celebrate bodily strength but also to bring inner calm.
With a design that combines various interactions of stone, wood, bamboo, and water, this sports and wellness clubhouse offers an experience beyond just sports activities. At Niskala Raga, every breath is a harmony between energy and peace, between the waves and the jungle, and between movement and health—an oasis amidst the dynamics of the city.
