Upon arrival at Mövenpick Jimbaran, you will step in the reception area that is dominated by wooden structure combined with marble floor. It has more of a contemporary look with a touch of Balinese traditional decoration. It is adorned by artworks carefully picked by Hadiprana Design Consultant as the lead interior designer and architect executive through some discussions with the hotel owner’s design team. Next to the reception area is the Katha lounge, furnished with plenty of comfortable couches, where you can also order food and beverages.
Mövenpick Jimbaran is a five-star hotel with casual luxury ambiance, having in mind that it is targeted mainly for families. It avoids having a too sterile look and takes its inspiration from the Jimbaran fishermen village. Hence, the heavy use of wood to bring the casual and warm characters into the design, such as bangkirai wood for the roof frame, door and window panels and column cladding, as well as ulin (iron)
wood for the pool deck.
The reception balcony faces the vast gardens and the pools, which are amongst the family attractions. There is a lap pool, a play pool and a kids pool zone. Children can have fun here what with the flume and playground, while adults can tan on floaties or simply hangout by the pool bar, JeJaLa. The pools are integrated with architectural elements like a long house to give a sense of shelter and direction.
Most of the public spaces at Mövenpick Jimbaran are monumental, but the guest rooms and suites are pleasantly intimate and the perfect space to unwind. Whether it’s the room with beach view or garden view, it offers everything you need for a relaxing stay including WiFi, flat screen TV and rain showers.
For the activities that don’t involve getting wet, kids can choose from ample choices such as wall climbing, cooking and painting at the Meera Kids Club. The two-storey area adopts the pirate theme, with a wooden and colourful ship as the main property. For both kids and adults, a walk to the Jimbaran Beach only takes a few minutes, where surfboards and paddle boards are available for rent. All in all, Mövenpick Jimbaran offers a complete package of fun, aesthetics and unforgettable experiences.
