At its heart, Blum remains a family-owned business, now managed by the third generation of the Blum family. Blum entered the Indonesian market early, recognizing its potential as Southeast Asia's largest economy. The company’s commitment to nurturing partnerships has been crucial in fostering trust and loyalty among Indonesian furniture makers and distributors. The company started its own subsidiary in Indonesia in 2021. Offices, a showroom, and a training centre are located at the ICE Business Park in BSD, Tangerang. Additionally, the brand and its products are showcased through showrooms and dealerships with partners across the country. The team in Indonesia is growing, reflecting the brand’s increasing commitment.

Blum’s Connection to Indonesia
At its training centre, Blum Indonesia offers customized free trainings designed for woodworking and interior experts to gain an in-depth understanding of the Blum product range, ultimately contributing to the success of the projects. To share knowledge with contractors and carpenters outside the Greater Jakarta area, Blum has introduced the orange service van, Blum Jingga. With this van, Blum experts travel across the country, offering free training sessions. In addition, Blum has established close collaborations with leading Indonesian universities, where they share their practical knowledge and experience with aspiring interior designers.
Having its roots in Austria, where its products are developed and vast majority of them are manufactured, Blum collaborated with a batik designer not long time ago to create its own exclusive batik design. This design symbolizes Blum’s brand values, expressed in a distinctly Indonesian way.
Blum’s Anniversary
To celebrate its anniversary in Indonesia, Blum will launch activities throughout 2025. One of the highlights will be the brand's presence at the annual architectural forum and trade event ARCH:ID from May 8-11 at ICE BSD. Additionally, there will be numerous smaller events and get-togethers. Of course, there will also be special anniversary offers for Blum products.
